Introduction
Welcome to Project 1 for MEDT 7465! This project required us to create a lesson and comic strip that could be used in a K-12 classroom. Our group decided to address the 5th grade Georgia Performance social studies standard:
SSS5H6 The student will explain the reasons for American's involvement in World War II.
d. Identify Roosevelt, Stalin, Churchill, Hirohito, Truman, Mussolini, and Hitler.
We created a story about a little boy who is bored in class, so he decides to go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom, he travels in time to meet the various figures mentioned above, and learns about who they were and the roles they play in World War II.

Group Members and Project Parts
This group was comprised of four students: Christina Phyall, Jamie O'Conner, Mary Pope, and Angela Pieniaszek. We used course den email as well as WIMBA sessions to plan our project parts and offer feedback throughout the process. After our first meeting, the group decided the following:
Mary would create the comparison chart.
Jami would write the story.
Christina would create the comics.
Angela would write the lesson plan and create the web page.
As we all proceeded on our respective parts, we worked hard to collaborate and refine them based on each others feedback as necessary. We hope you enjoy the Adventures of Billy and our final product!
